Grand Wash Auto announced their successful fundraising campaign to support the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal raised $6,039. This result was a combined donation from customers at the paystations and cash donation from Grand Wash Auto.
In addition to monetary support, the team at Grand Wash Auto took part in the 8km walk and were actively involved in the post walk Ivanhoe Street Party. “Partnering with the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal for a second time has been incredibly satisfying” said Ali Sadiku, Grand Wash Auto owner. “In addition to our business donation, we established a new system on our paystations that enabled customers to donate effortlessly” adds Ali. “We are looking forward to getting involved again next year.”
“It was great to have the Grand Wash Auto team involved this year” said Sharon Hillman, Director of Fundraising, “we are delighted to report The Wellness Walk and Ivanhoe Street Party was a huge success with 2,000 walkers and an estimated 10,000 people enjoying the Street Party”. Sharon adds “The 2014 Wellness Walk & Ivanhoe Street party has already raised over $136,000 in peer to peer fundraising alone”.
