Grand Wash Auto announced its partnership with the Darebin Information, Volunteer & Resource Service (DIVRS) supporting the TAC L2P program. Each of the two learner driver cars received a 12-month Unlimited Wash Pass. Mentor drivers and DIVRS volunteers have been provided with a volunteer discount code that reduces their premium wash from $21 to $16.
The TAC L2P Program helps Victorian learner drivers aged 16 to 21 with no access toa supervising driver or car to gain the 120 hours driving experience needed to apply for a probationary licence.
The TAC L2P Program is funded by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and Department of Transport (DoT), supported by the Victorian Government and co-ordinated by DIVRS.
“Supporting local community is a priority focus,” said Ali Sadiku, Owner/Operator of Grand Wash Auto. “Partnering with a group committed to helping young people become safe, confident drivers is an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. We are proud to support the drivers and mentors involved in this great community initiative.”
“We are delighted that Grand Wash Auto (GWA) have offered to support our program” says Julie-Anne O’Brien, Darebin TACL2P Coordinator. “The support from GWA means we can provide greater help to young people in Darebin and recognises the valuable contribution of our many dedicated volunteers.”
